This has been confirmed on ThinkPad models: T400, T500, and W500 (see below). The crash also happens randomly when an external monitor is active. It can sometimes be triggered by watching a DVD. Moreover, sometimes amdkmdap crashes several times in a row. Then Windows crashes with a BSOD. Another problem relates to the standby mode of Dell monitors (see below). Though, this seems to be a separate issue.
