kept与borrowed与lent怎么区分？

can you lend me a pen?=can i borrow your pen?you lent me a pen the other day, can i keep it ?i gave you a pencil the other day, and you can keep it,because i have a new one...

kept表示状态可以持续后面可以加时间段，表示“持有”概念borrowed是借入，瞬间动词后面不可跟时间段lent是借出，瞬间动词后面不可跟时间段...
