Strep throat has been known to cause a condition called strawberry tongue. This can also lead to scarlet fever if it is severe. The term strawberry is used because the tongue gets covered with small blisters making the tongue appear to look like a strawberry. Strep throat and scarlet fever can be treated with antibiotics. Avoid close contact with infected persons until they have completed at least 2 days of a 10-day course of antibiotic therapy. Do not drink raw (unpasteurized) milk or eat any products made from raw milk. Exclude persons with respiratory illnesses or skin lesions from food handling.参考资料:http://www.dricq.com/school/Health/14029.shtm
