英语小知识，指点一下～（a number of&the number of)

a number of 许多，大量。后面跟可数名词。作主语时，谓语动词用复数。the number of ...... 的数量，后面也跟可数名词。作主语时，谓语动词用单数。A number of students here are good at maths.The number of the students here is 100.

a number of是许多a number of girls are singing许多女孩子在唱歌the number of 是....的数量the number of the car is 100他们的谓语动词不一样
