图片电影：电影胶片是一格一格的，而当播放这些画面的速度放慢到如幻灯片放映般，就是您在1号展厅看到的情景，以这种没有连贯性照片循环播放的方式，我们称之为“图片电影”。
作品总述：电影真实反映了山东青石雕刻厂石雕工人的生存现状。艺术家将视点聚集到北方的底层劳动人民，让更多的人了解他们的生活，体现出当代艺术的人文关怀及社会责任。
作品名称：当地盛产青石（石材的一种）；麒麟在当地被奉为祥兽，又是雕刻厂最具代表性的产品样式；此为系列作品的第二部，作品名称由此而来。
问题探讨：“艺术”与“生存”孰重孰轻？在当地艰难的生存环境下，石雕工人并没有把艺术作为关注的对象，他们只是单纯地去工作，维持生计，尽管他们在日常工作中一直做着与艺术相关的事情。在这里谈艺术是奢侈的。

QuestionDiscussion: Which weighs heavier: “art” or “survival”? Underthe harsh local living conditions, those carving workerssingle-mindedly devote themselves to working hard just to make endsmeet instead of paying attention to art; though they, in fact, havebeen doing things related to art in their daily lives.
