There used to be green trees and all kinds of flowers in our school all the year around. It usedto be a quite place and it was a good place for study.Things have changed since a chemical works was built Near our school a year ago. Every day they produce large quantities of waste water and harmful gases. The terrible pollution has done great harm to us as well as to the treesand flowers. And the great noise from the works has greatly affected our teaching and studying activities. Our school is no longer a quiet and good place for study. We suffer a lot from the pollution.We do hope you can help us to take measures to protect our school and stop it from being polluted.Yours truly,

Dear Sir/Madam;Firstly, thank you very much for paying attention to my letter! I hope what i'm going to say will be impressive to you and can be spreaded out to all who are conerning our enviornment.I'm a student of Guang Ming Middle School. We used to have a beatiful campus which is facing the lake and against the hill. It's like a garden cause there are so many trees and flowers. We love our school so much. Unfortunately, this scenario dosen't exist any more. A year ago, a chemical plant was built up just beside our school, and everything was changed since then. Wasted water, toxic gas and annoying noise kept coming out from the plant. All of these hazards seriously affected our health.
