go to the dentist 是去“看牙医“go to the dentist's 是去 “牙医诊所”(去牙科诊所也有看牙医的含义）go to the doctor是去看医生，具体是什么科的医生不明确，如果是看“牙医”的话要用专有名词“dentist”

前着是去牙医那,不一定看牙,后者是去牙医那看牙,换成doctor则没那么具体
