POSITION:
MIS Application Analyst - BI
REPORTS TO:
MIS Manager
EDUCATION:
Bachelor degree, Computer Science & Communication or MIS
REQUIREMENTS:
1)
5+ years experience on business analysis and application system implementation.
2)
3+ years experience on Cognos BI or other BI tool (BO, Microsoft Strategy and etc) implementation including dimension design, cube build-up, report development and user training.
3)
Strong background with Microsoft SQL Server, especially in SQL Server 2005
4)
Strong and practical knowledge of database development methodology for Microsoft SQL Server 2005.
5)
Strong skills in T-SQL and Stored Procedures.
6)
Knowledge on CRM, SFA, workflow, ERP is preferred.
7)
Ability to work independently on multiple tasks.
8)
Knowledge of current technology to positively influence the development environment.
9)
Good command in English writing and speaking.
10)
Good interpersonal and communication skills and strong teamwork spirit.
11)
Strong project management skill including project initiation, planning, budget control, alternatives determination, coordination, implementation and training.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1)
To manage the implementation of BI inChina:
-
Managing local IT resources to ensure that projects are delivered on-time and within budget
-
Liaising with management ensuring that everybody concerned is aware of timescales and objectives
-
Networking with IS personnel outside of China to provide support / additional resources when required
-
Reviewing business processes and recommending improvements

2)
To support and improve the use of BI in China:
-
Ensuring help desk calls/issues are resolved in a timely and professional manner
-
Facilitating user training
-
Ensuring the most cost effective solution is deployed (in line with the global company IT strategy).
3)
Support MIS Manager to further develop, communicate and implement the IT strategy for China in conjunction with local management and the International IT group.
4)
Participate in defining requirements that meet all functional business needs in an efficient and cost effective manner
5)
Participate/lead projects of business application system rollout/enhancement, or process change.
