The poetic and picturesque Summer Palace is the classic works of the feudal dynasty garden. The Forbidden City is the most splendid group of imperial palace in the world. The temple of heaven is the place of worship for emperors of various dynasties of China as well as a splendid achievement of the Chinese ancient architectural art. The above four have been selected by the United Nations organization of education, Science and Culture as the world cultural heritage. What is typical of Beijing is hutong and the compound courtyard (old Beijing residential quarters), which are now disappearing. These streets and buildings witnessed ups and downs of the city and the people in the past centuries and are a typical symbol of the life of Beijing people. Changes have taken place day by day in Beijing since China's reform and opening to the outside world is being deepened. As a popular saying goes around here, Beijing is growing taller with more and more high buildings younger with the people's life richer and more colorful. Beijing is advancing more rapidly with full confidence in the 21st century. This is Beijing, old and young, full of attraction. If you ask me why I want to visit Beijing, I would just give you few reasons. As the capital of Chin, Beijing is the centrl of economy and culture of china, so we everyone as the chinese must go. The great wall is another reason. There is an chinese say"He who has never been to the Great Wall is not a true man." When foreigners come to China, they will never miss Beijing and will also not miss the Great Wall. So, I, am a chinses, should not go there? Besides these, there are a lot more to see....Summer Palace, the forbidden city, even the skyscrepers which I would not see in my home town. Even the bar street in HouHai, will be an attraction to me. Just heard one of my friends that the Houhai bar street is fatastic. Wangfujing street, the walking street for shopping..Anyway, there are still more reasons to explain why I want to visit beijing. But i think above mentioned few reasons is enough. What do you say?
