Text :英国的邮筒以红色为主流，据说红色象征十万火急，以显示英国邮政的高效律。德国、法国、瑞士、西班牙、卢森堡等西欧国家的邮筒大多以黄色为主，而东欧国家的邮筒以浅蓝色为多，日本的邮筒最早是黑色，在1901年时追随英国风，而将一部份的邮筒漆成红色，在1908年全面统一为红色沿用至今。新加坡直至1971年才以自己风格的邮筒取代殖民时期的圆筒英式邮筒，更在1992年更改为四面印上国家名称，独树一格的白色邮筒。美国用蓝色，快邮信件邮筒用国旗颜色，即蓝白红。而中国则是在49年建国以后，在第一次全国邮政会议上，因为绿色象征和平、青春、茂盛和繁荣最后决定用绿色做为邮政的专用标志。
